I never really set out to be a florist. When our three children all reached school age I didn’t really want to return to shift work as a nurse but knew I needed to do something and also do something new and creative.

With two City and Guild floristry certificates I gained invaluable experience working in a local florist shop.

Dartmoor Flowers has allowed me to develop my own individual style of wedding flowers and make it available to couples getting married.

Garden-style flowers, the hedgerow, woodlands and the Moor. These, and the changes that the seasons bring constantly provide me with inspiration.

I love to create natural, relaxed and informal style designs using flowers and foliage with different shapes, sizes and textures. With a desire to create abundant and textually inspired arrangements my designs give the feeling that they have just been gathered up from the garden or hedgerow and tied with a ribbon.
